Creating a Pulse From a Template
This is similar to creating a pulse, however, your questions will be automatically populated.
- Click New pulse
- Select From Template.
To select a Pulse Template
- To narrow down the results to a specific group, click on the Category (Students, Staff, Family Members, etc.)
- Select a Template from the results.
NOTE: You can move between groups by clicking a different Category name.
- Review the questions in the template. NOTE: These can be changed later on if you prefer different question(s).
- Click Use Template to begin creating a Pulse with the default template questions.
Step One: Settings
- Enter the name of your Pulse.
- Select the student(s)/group(s) that you would like to ask.
- Select/remove the groups that you would like to share the results with.
- Select the checkbox if you would like Comments enabled.
- Select the checkbox if you would like to allow students to request to speak to an adult.
Step Two: Edit
Customize the Pulse by clicking on the question.
NOTE: This will allow you to adjust the question, the favorability, face icon and responses.
Once you have adjusted the template select Next.
Step Three: Schedule Your Pulse
- Enter in the required information for: Starts, Window and Repeat
- Select Create schedule to complete your Pulse creation.
