How to Use a Pulse Template


  1. Select Pulses.
  2. Select New Pulse.
  3. Select From Template.

  1. Use the Filters on the left hand side to filter through the Templates available.

NOTE:"Your Site Name" Template will filter to ONLY show Templates created at your site/organization.

  1. Select the Template that you wish to use.

  1. Review the Template Questions and Template INTERACTIVE Demo.
  2. To use the Template to begin creating a Pulse, select Use Template.
  3. To return to Templates, select Templates.

  1. Enter the name of the Pulse. NOTE: The template name is displayed just below the title, New Student Pulse.
  2. Select the students/staff/family that will be taking the Pulse.
  3. Select who the results should be shared with.
  4. Select the check box IF Comments should be enabled.
  5. Select the check box IF students can request to speak to an adult. NOTE: This option is ONLY for Student Pulses.
  6. Select Next.

  1. To add a question from the Bank or create from scratch select the Green Rectangle.
  2. To edit a Template Question, double-click on the question.
  3. The question, question type (Likert, Multiple Choice, etc.), responses, add/remove Face Icons can all be edited. NOTE: Once editing is complete continue with any additional edits/additions.

Select Next when you have completed adjusting/adding your questions.

  1. Enter the Start, Window and if it needs to Repeat.
  2. Select Create schedule.
That is it, you have created a Pulse from a Template!
