Select Edit Important Dates.
1. Input Dates as appropriate based on the new IEP.
2. Click Save.
Edit Student Demographics (If Appropriate)
1. Select the Students Module
2. Select Student Demographics.
Click Edit Student Demographics.
1. If appropriate, make changes to the FTE Information.
2. If appropriate, make changes to the Setting.
IF you need to manually update the Operating, Resident and/or Attending Building Due to needing to publish ASAP, you can also edit these fields. NOTES: a) These fields are permission based. b) The nightly import will override whatever has been hand edited within Infinity so be sure to make the changes within your SIS as well.
3. Click Save.
Edit Student Primary Disability
1. Select Students.
2. Select Student Primary Disability View.
Click Edit Student Primary Disability.
Enter an End Date
1. Enter an End Date.
2. Click Save.
Note: The End Date of this program should be one day before the start date of the student's new IEP (e.g., New IEP Dated 1/28/26, End Date = 1/27/26).
Select View Student Primary Disability to review the changes to ensure they took effect.
1. Select Disability.
2. Input Start Date.
3. Select Add.
Note: Start Date should be the date of the new IEP. End Date should be left BLANK.
Input Student Status for Initial IEPs ONLY
1. Select Students Module.
2. Select Student Status.
Click Student Status Edit.
1. Input Referral Parental Consent, IEP Result, Number of Days Past Consent/Extension Date, and any other relevant fields. NOTE: The Result of Initial IEP (if an Initial IEP is completed within Infinity) will push to this field automatically.
2. Click Save.
