Expand or collapse content Change the Student's FTE to 1862

1. Edit or add FTE Type and select the FTE type of 1862.

Expand or collapse content Add Count Tracking Date for 1862

1.  On either the FTE (MSDS) or FTE (Current) Page, select Count Tracking Dates for FTE 1862.

1.  Select Edit Count Tracking Dates for FTE 1862.

2.  Enter the dates for the four weeks of count.

3.  Select Save.

1.  Select Student FTE Details to go back to the Student's FTE Details Page.

Expand or collapse content Calculate 1862

1.  To have the system look for the week with the highest number of hours, select Calculate 1862.  The week with the highest number of hours will display the total hours.

2.  To calculate the FTE from the total hours, select submit.  This will take the total hours for the highest week, times it by 52 and then divide by 180 to calculate the FTE.

NOTE: You do not need to pull a new Time Capsule to refresh/run this page.  It will do the calculation if you are on either the Current OR MSDS FTE Page.

(NOTE:  Remember, Time Capsules should not be pulled after the day of count until you are ready for the next State Reporting Period.)

NOTES:

1. The SP FTE is based on the calculation for 1862.

2. The Hrs/Wk is based on what was entered for the Program itself.
