This article will walk through common questions about the Provider Caseload Widget for Special Education Providers.

Why are some students showing that they will inactivate as a of a certain date?

Answer:  If a student has been moved off of your caseload, or if they have moved away (enrollment has ended) or if they have an overdue IEP/IFSP so there is not an active service, the system will give you 30 days to complete any needed data entry for the student before they move to your inactive caseload.

The widget states the student is going to drop off of my caseload as of _____.  Why is this?

Answer:  One of the following has occurred (see below) and as a result, the system gives you 30 days to complete any needed data entry for the student before they move to your inactive caseload.

a.  Student is no longer on your caseload due to changing providers or service has ended.

b.  Student has left district (enrollment has ended)

c.  The IEP/IFSP is overdue so there is not an active service

A student is still on my caseload and he should not be.  We had an IEP last week so why are students still there?  

Answer:  The system gives you 30 days to complete any needed data entry for the student before they move to your inactive caseload.
