This lesson will cover how to Assign Legal Guardians to Students in Infinity.
This lesson requires that you select a student and are currently in student mode. If you are unsure how to select a student, refer to the Searching for Students document. If you have already selected a student, please continue.
Navigate to Contacts
Click on the Students tab and under Current, select Student Contacts.
Confirm Legal Guardians Records Say Yes
Look to see that Yes appears next to the legal guardian(s) name for the student. If Yes is next to each legal guardian, then you are all set for this student. Be sure all non-legal guardians indicate No next to them.
This process ensures that only the legal guardian(s) are included in the IEP form.
Edit Legal Guardian To Indicate Yes or No
To change the indication for a legal guardian, click on the Edit link to the right of the Contact's information.
1. In the More Info Section check Legal Guardian.
2. Select Save.
