Add/Modify Student Enrollment

This lesson will show how to make basic edits to Student Enrollment including grade change and un-enrolling an existing student.  NOTE: Enrollment SHOULD be brought in from your Student Information System as best practice. Use this option only when that is not possible.

1.  Select Students.

2.  Select Enrollment History.

NOTE:  If you do not already have a student within your Student Ribbon it will first take you to Search 2.0 to search/locate the student.

Expand or collapse content Add Enrollment

Select New Enrollment.

1. Select the SITE (not the district) the student will be enrolled in.

2. Select the Effective Date or Enrollment Start Date.

3. Select Next.

1. Select Grade Level.

2. Select Enrollment Program.

3. Select Submit.

That is it, you have added enrollment.

Expand or collapse content Change Grade/Program

1. Click edit at the top of the page. .

 

2. Once the page refreshes, click the pencil/paper button.

3. Then enter the Effective Date of the new enrollment record as the first day of the grade level or program.

4. Click Save.

5. Click the arrows button to change the Grade Level/Attendance Program (if applicable).

6. Change the Grade Level (if applicable).

7. Change the Enrollment Program (if applicable).

8. Click Save.

NOTE:  You will need to correct the grade level within your Student Information System otherwise the grade will be adjusted  back when the SIS data imports into Infinity again.

Confirm that the information is correct. If additional changes are needed, follow the steps above.

Expand or collapse content Un-enroll a Student

Identify the year/term you would like to Un-enroll a student from. At the right, you will see a right arrow button aka the un-enroll button. Click on it.

2. Enter an Exit Date (the last day the student was physically present in class).

3. Select an Exit Code from the drop down menu. Confirm that the information is correct.

4. If all information is correct, press Save.

NOTE:  You will also need to un-enroll them from your Student Information System otherwise the enrollment will be added back to the system when the SIS data imports into Infinity again.

You will receive a success message at the top of the Enrollment History page.
