This lesson describes how to use the Sub-navigation Toolbar and gives a brief description of the functions of each tab within the toolbar.

Navigating the Sub-navigation Toolbar

The Sub-navigation Toolbar will appear once the Evaluation Context Page page has been successfully completed and saved. Navigate the toolbar by clicking on a tab (i.e. REED List, Evaluation Context, Present Level, etc.).

REED List : List of  Referrals that have been created for selected student

Evaluation Context: Basic information about the REED (i.e. District, Referral Date (if appropriate), etc.)

Invitation Letter Print:   This will generate the Invitation to the REED.  You will need to fill in the appropriate areas with the correct information.  Save and print.

Present Level: Detailed information about the student's present level (e.g. current assessment/evaluation information, parent input, teacher/service provider observations, etc.)

Plan: Information including: Whether the IEP team is requesting further evaluation for the student. Determination Options and Parental/Guardian Notice and Consent

Key Dates: Important dates about this referral (e.g. MET Representative, Date of Consent, Extension Dates)

Eval Logs: Detailed evaluation summaries and logs entered by the evaluators

MET: MET Report creation and housing

Close:  Finalize, Publish, or Close the REED

Remember that the Sub-navigation Toolbar will ONLY appear once a referral has been added for a student. Once a referral has been added, you are ready to enter Present Level information for the referral. Click on the Present Level tab to proceed to the next step in the referral process.
