You can configure your pulses to repeat throughout the year. This feature is designed to facilitate Pulse management by allowing you to schedule recurring surveys in advance.
Here are some example use cases:
- You may have a student Pulse that begins at the start of the school year and you wish to have it repeated on a monthly basis.
- Similarly, you might have a parent Pulse that begins at the beginning of the school year, but should only repeat twice (once in the Fall and once in the Spring).
In both scenarios, you have the flexibility to set the schedule in advance, and Kelvin will automate the process by dispatching the Pulses (via Chrome extension, SMS, or email) according to the specified configuration.
Please Note: You will need administrator access to the Pulse to make any changes.
1. Navigate to the Pulses Page from your Launchpad.
2. Click the three dots next to the pulse you would like to edit.
3. Click Edit Settings.
NOTE: You will land on the Info Page.

1. Choose or modify the pulse start date and the duration for which you wish to keep the administration window open.
2. Choose or modify the Window that will indicate the specific times when the Boogie Chrome Extension dog will appear.
3. Within the Repeat section, choose the Custom option and specify the desired frequency for the pulse deployment. You can select either the Weeks or Months option.
4. Within the Until section, choose the date in which you would like the pulse to end.
5. Click Create schedule.

4. Within the How? section, select how you would like families to get notified. Select either email, test message or both. Also select the time at which you want the message to be deployed. Note: families will get notified until they participate in the survey.
