System administrators have access to edit users' permissions in Kelvin. For example, system administrators may want to limit which users can view students' timelines, and receive notifications for student requests. (For more information about student requests see: What is a Student Request?) User permissions can be updated in a few simple steps.
Note: You must have the role of System Admin in order to Manage Permissions
1. Select the purple circle icon (that has the first letter of your first name) in the upper right hand corner.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Permissions.
4. Adjust permissions to allow specific users/custom groups to:
- View student timeline and requests: View student timelines and receive notifications of requests to speak to an adult
- Create Pulse surveys: Create Pulses
- Manage Pulse Templates: Create Pulse Templates from previously built Pulses
- Limited Access: Limit a users' access so that they will be unable to see student identifiable information
- Manage student opt-outs: Opt in/opt out student(s) from taking Pulses
- Manage Pulse Power Reports. Create, edit and delete Pulse Power Reports.
- View Pulse Power Reports: View Power Reports.
- Manage Custom Rosters: Manage custom rosters including creating, editing and assigning.
5. Select Save.
