With the release of Pulse Extension 1.4.0 students can now choose from one of four options of "coins" or icons that appear in their Chrome browser when a Pulse is open. By default the Boogie the dog coin is installed with the Kelvin Pulse Chrome extension.
The ability to enable this feature may be dependent on District permissions and policies. Some Districts may restrict Users' access to manage extensions or extension options.
Where to Start
1. Right Click on the K Extension Icon in the upper right hand of your Chrome web browser (this is the Kelvin Education Chrome Extension button). If the K is not pinned in your extensions Click on the Puzzle piece icon and locate Pulse by Kelvin to Click the 3 dots.
2. Select options.
1. Select the coin (icon) that you wish to use.
2. Click save.
1. If there is a live Pulse, the student can navigate to a website in Chrome, and look for their new Coin in the bottom right corner of the page where Boogie the dog would normally appear.
FYI: The student may need to refresh the browser if the Coin does not update after saving their selection.
